We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health physical therapy services in Harford County, Maryland. The PTA will deliver treatment interventions delegated by the supervising Physical Therapist and assist patients in achieving functional goals outlined in the Plan of Treatment.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
License Requirement: Active Maryland PTA license (Compact license accepted where applicable)
Productivity Requirement: 28–32 points per week
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.43 per mile
Coverage Area: Harford County
Provide physical therapy services delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates, concerns, and treatment responses to the supervising PT.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
Maintain accurate and timely treatment and billing documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal requirements.
Ensure therapy equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly; report equipment issues promptly.
Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities.
Adhere to HIPAA, company policies, corporate compliance programs, and professional practice standards.
Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred.
Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
This position is ideal for a PTA with home health experience who is comfortable traveling within Harford County and collaborating closely with supervising Physical Therapists to deliver patient-centered care.
